Ryker's POV:
Jax is in the intensive care unit at the nearby hospital. They had to do surgery to repair the damage of the bullet that went through his chest just barely missing his heart but got part of his lung. He lost a lot of blood and needed a transfusion. I happen to be the right blood type so they did a transfusion from me after they got the bullet removed from my arm.
I just got my arm bandaged up from when they took the bullet out and the blood they took and gave me some orange juice to drink before I got up out of bed. They didn't ask questions about how Jax got shot. Almost as if they already had an idea of who it was, like they have seen this happen many times before and knew there was nothing that was going to be done about it.
