"What took you so long? What Lee said to you?" Cast asked me in a flat tone.
I glanced at the side mirror and Lee’s small figure disappeared, when I turned to Cast he was looking at me intently with crossed arms.
"Nothing, he just wanted to walk me." I looked ahead and ignored his intense glares. My hands tightened around the bouquet of the flowers in my lap.
"You're better than that.." he said coldly.
"It was nothing, Cast."
He stopped pestering me then my mind drifted to what Lee and I’s conversation, he was too serious in life. And Cast came at the perfect timing, he saved me from that awkward situation.
