STEPHANIE:
"You're back." He said in a serious tone. His tone and expressions were telling me that he is not so optimistic right now but the question is what happened?
"I am. How was your day?" I tried to keep the conversation casual.
"Like usual." He replied and averted his gaze back to the laptop.
"Were you busy today?" I asked him and sat on the bed in front of him.
"I was. How was your day? What did you do?" He asked and put the laptop on the side table.
Goody, he's ready to talk.
"It was great. Sam helped me a lot with my studies. I got to know some interesting things about Max. Mrs Benson was so kind and make such delicious food. You should have come to eat dinner. She was pretty sad to know that you aren't coming." I told him. He stayed quiet and was just staring
