The extremely close clash of thunder makes my eyes fly open, laying on my back. The persistent sound of dripping water gives my mind something to hold onto as my body focuses on trying to wake up. Where was I this time? My stomach reminds me how long I've been without food and rumbles lowly, but I ignore it and it stops, falling under my command. The closer I listened, and the more my brain shook off sleep, made me aware that there was more than the sound of heavy rain around me, and the crackle of thunder. I hear cries of people, not fearful and terror, but excitement. The pit... I look around the room and see what was going on, more stone walls.
