Mineko's POV:
I almost slip on a patch of loose and muddy ground, catching a branch from a tree and holding on for dear life, lifting myself higher so I'm not even touching the ground anymore. The rain pelts the leaves above, collecting in the leaves, so every time you shake a tree it's like a bucket of water pouring on your head.
Refreshing.
And, just as I think about it, a downpour hits me and I sigh, most of my body uncovered still. I was used to having entire body coverage in White Warrior attire still, and Aitana didn't let me out in the rain anyways, or any weather for that matter.
Plus, Dark Warrior cloth was not waterproof. Maybe they wanted the people to accustom their bodies to this weather, seeing as they only have one pack, or they just aren't as smart about this as we are.
