"Bridger?" Kee asked, shocked.

"Yeah, it's me." The guy replied with a wide grin.
I frowned as I looked him up and down. He's much smaller than me in both height and muscle. Still much bigger than Kee though. He has dark red hair, blue eyes, and light freckles across his face.
I instantly hated him.
Who the hell is this guy? How does he know my mate? And why is he looking at her like she's some kind of lost treasure?
"W-what are you doing here?" Kee asked him.
Bridger took a step towards Kee, and I reflexively stepped in front of her, blocking his view. I glared down at him. He looked up at me, and raised a brow.
"Akeehla, I didn't know you had a body guard now. A girl as strong as you?" Bridger teased.
