I shouldn't have tried to push Kee again. Seducing her hasn't worked yet. I don't know why I would try again.
This was different though. Kee gave me a bit more information, but nothing too useful. The moment I dabble too deep, Kee closes right up. It was even worse when I tried to ask her who was in charge.
I don't think I'll ever forget that look in her eyes when she accused me of being just like that man. It broke my heart to be compared to the person who tortured my mate for two years. It really made me realize just how much what I'm doing is hurting Kee.
Should I give her up? It would save her more heart break in the end. Kee would be free from the bond that connects us. She wouldn't be so confused all the time. She could try to be happy.
