Kee heard everything. No one needed to confirm it for me. It was written all over Kee's face. I've never seen her look so hurt.
It was clear to me that Kee was desperately trying to hold her anger back. The black veins that crawled up her face, along with those glowing orange eyes, made me want to run to her. I almost did. It was a reaction that I wasn't prepared to stop.
Del did it for me. She grabbed my arm, holding me back. All I could was watch as Kee yelled at Jay'el. Watch as Gabrielle coaxed Kee into a fight. And watch as Kee sucked up her own emotions for the sake of my men.
Thankfully, Jay'el ran after Kee. I'm still struggling not to myself, but at least someone I trust
