Alpha Liam cut off his conversation with Dr. James and wandered through the corridors back into Serena's hospital room before stopping short in his tracks as he realized that her bed was in fact empty. His next step was to check the bathroom, knocking politely on the door before opening it, to find that too was empty. Where was she? Where could she possibly have gone? He thought back to what he had been doing and what he and Dr. James had been discussing. Had she ignored his request for her to stay in the room and in fact followed them to listen in on their conversation? Had she heard the part about not rejecting her because she wasn't strong enough to take it? He swore in his mind, his head beginning to throb painfully as Hades began to growl in his mind.
