Aria closed the door as the last of her family finally departed. It had been a long day, and she was glad it was over. Tomorrow, she had a list of things to do to finish settling in so that her new life could officially begin. She supposed she should get some clothes for the office, though Jude assured her casual was fine. Even so, she wanted to at least look the part.
“You okay?” a voice asked behind her.
Aria looked over her shoulder to see Theo sitting at the island counter. Ruger and Remington dozed on the floor, clearly content in this new living space. They all seemed equally comfortable. He stood after a moment and walked up to her. Without a word, he pulled her into his embrace and let her lean on him.
