Jax stood there, his jaw tight, eyes blazing with anger as he glared at Jesse while he spoke to Ellie. Every muscle in his body screamed that he wanted to march right over and confront him, but I couldn’t let that happen. I had to grab Jax by the arm and drag him back inside, my grip firm, my voice steady though my heart was racing.
