When I was finally able to go home later that day Jax stayed by my side the whole time. But as soon as we walked inside Alpha Joseph was waiting for us.
“Is everything alright?” Jax asked.
“Yeah. I just need to speak with Sage about the events of last night.” Joseph said.
“Dad, do you have to do that now? I mean, she’s just been released from the hospital. Can’t you talk to her later?” Jax asked.
“I need to know everything while it’s still fresh in her mind.” Joseph said.
“It’s alright. I’ll talk to him.” I said, putting my hand on Jax’s chest.
“Alright. But I’m coming too.” Jax said.
“Yeah. That’s alright.” Joseph said.
So we went to his office and he closed the door behind us.
