Jack pov The storm was a monster, wild and unstoppable. Rain pounded against my face as I gripped the boat’s wheel, my knuckles white from holding on so tight. The waves crashed hard, rocking us side to side, but I didn’t let go. I couldn’t. My eyes stayed locked on the dark water ahead, cutting through the chaos with every ounce of focus I had left. The cold bit into my skin, sharp and deep, soaking through my clothes, but I didn’t care about that.
