Jack’s POV Pain was the first thing I felt. It wasn’t just a little ache. No, it was a sharp, burning pain that stabbed through my ribs like a hot knife. It spread fast, pulsing through my skull, making my head throb with every heartbeat. My whole body felt wrecked, like someone had ripped me apart and barely bothered to put me back together.
