Jack’s POV The snow fell in relentless waves outside the hotel window, blanketing the world in an eerie quiet. But inside, the room was anything but calm. My mind churned with unease as I paced from wall to wall, Rose’s last message flashing in my head: “Don’t come back.” I couldn’t focus.
