 “Please Emma, just listen.” Cern begged as she pace down the sidewalk towards the Diner. He was following close behind her, almost stumbling to keep up. “No.” She hissed “I told you, I'm not going with you and that's final.” Her skirt swirled around her as a sudden breeze picked up and Cern looked upward in consternation. “You don't understand Emma. Bel isn't the only one that will be coming for you now. What you did-it drew attention.” Cern gripped her arm and spun her around. She used both hands to shove at his chest. “I said stop!” She shrieked and the electricity up and down the street went out, electrical lines sparked and snapped and a fire started on the pole beside them.
