Kara's POV:
I was walking out from under the grand staircase with a basket in my arms after putting a load of laundry in the washer when I saw Jovian walk through the door. A huge smile took over my face as I looked at him. He glanced at me with a smile as he walked in. I was about ready to drop my basket that was in my hands to go over to him when I saw following in after him were more vampires that I had never seen before.
I stood there, in the back of the entrance, probably a good 60 feet from the door as the men walked in. There were at least six vampires that came in after him. Their eyes turned red the moment they caught my scent.
