Michael knew that running away wasn`t the right thing to have done. He knew that driving out of town with no destination in mind just so there was distance between him and the object of his desir—distress hadn`t necessarily been the right thing to have done either. But he`d needed to get away, out of reach, just so he could think. Jack completely overwhelmed his senses and Michael knew now that it was just going to get worse. So, here he was, twenty minutes outside town at a gas station, his head down on the stirring wheel, thinking. There was no reasoning his way out of it this time.
