I could not believe what I was hearing.
Frank had said those words like it was a normal occurrence. My research had told me there were dire consequences for rejecting one's mate.
Even though the thought of being rejected had crossed my mind once or twice I had not given it alot of consideration until those words.
For a minute the I was scared, scared that Marcus would heed to his son's words.
They were related after all and I was the stranger coming in between their relationship.
