The truth was that even after Gregory had made Marcus promise that he would him call if he was done or if he needed him he had still been sad and uneasy, so he had driven away under the watchful eyes of his mate but he did not go far.
When he was sure Marcus had finally gone in he had driven back and packed the car right by the cemetery gate, deep in his heart he had already made up his mind to wait for his mate right there.
He really did care for Marcus but he was also filled with with guilt. So his waiting for his mate aside from showing his concern for Marcus was also a way to easy his guilty conscience.
Killing two birds with one stone.
Who knew that it would not be long before he saw his mate dragging himself back out of the cemetery, he looked so pitiful.
