Celeste’s POV:   It was almost midnight when I had entered the Manor, and my heels clicked against the marble floor as I clutched the divorce papers tightly against my chest. The finality of this marriage just seems so cold and uncanny now, and I told myself that these last few months have only been an illusion, nothing else.   I figure this can only go one way, badly, and once this arrangement is over, it's over; we'll have nothing binding us together, in any form, ever again.
