Cameron's POV:
I felt confused by what Clayton had said. I thought they already were vampires. How could Azariah have a vampire if he was already one himself? I continued to look up into his eyes as if I was trying to find answers in them when really, I just had so many thoughts going through my mind all at once.
"I don't understand. I thought you already were vampires. How does he have one?" I asked him but I could tell in his expression that he didn't appear to really fully understand himself.
"I'm not a hundred percent on that. The ancient readings don't really talk about it." He explained to me.
"Then how do you know that it was his vampire and not him?" I asked, feeling more confused by the minute.
"Because I could feel it." He told me and I just gave him a blank look.
