"Cameron!" I shouted again through the opened door of the bedroom. I had already tried a few more times to try to break through that f*****g barrier but when Claudia says a regular vampire isn't going to get through, you aren't getting through. I had already broken a few pieces of furniture that were in the room from getting thrown back by the force of the barrier.
I felt sick with worry about her walking around this house with only Axel. Sure I saw Emma leave in her direction but she still won't be enough to help Cameron if too many vampires were to attack at once. This is in the middle of the day. They are all at the house.
