"What's the matter? Did Clayton not wake up? Did it not work?" She asked me the moment I told her that we had a problem and since that wasn't what I was calling about, I hesitated with my response which caused her to continue.
"You need to turn Cameron immediately then! She's human and won't be able to handle the breaking of the bond due to death!" She said louder into the phone.
"No, that isn't what I am calling about. It worked, Clayton woke up but we may have a different problem. Maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions but if I'm not, we could have a bigger problem." I told her as I stood there and watched Axel finish his meal.
