Kinley was exhausted after that outing, but what was most disturbing was the exhaustion and disorientation that Sam suddenly seemed to have. It was like watching a slightly tipsy teenager with the way he seemed to be shuffling around and occasionally swaying, his eyes hazy. She was really concerned that he might be coming down with something even though Sam told her he felt fine. She let him be but decided she'd have to keep a close eye on him over the next few days.
