It had been an uncomfortable few days and Kinley felt uneasy. Something was niggling her and every time she came across Lily she was more than prepared to rip her head off, feeling anger towards the woman, more so than she normally would. Spencer had kept far enough away from her that Kinley was ready to tear him a new one as well. Finally, Kinley had had enough and she went storming back downstairs and into the study, somehow not shocked to find Lily sitting opposite Spencer.
"Lily" Kinley said pleasantly, her eyes boring into a subdued Spencer's "get out, now" she added, and Lily's mouth opened but a quick glance from Spencer silenced her, Lily leaving the room looking rather reluctant noticed Kinley. She could care less.
