Rose had never felt more alive. How surprised her darling little son had been to see her at that farm! She'd heard them plan it all and snuck away, sensing an opportunity and more than willing to take it. She'd followed behind them and waited as they entered the rescue Centre, donning her cloak and traipsing through the crowd, no one sensing her presence, not even Spencer. He'd let his guard down being away from the pack, she mused, a big mistake that was, one that had resulted in her being able to approach Sam on his lonesome.
Sam still believed she was Lily, she thought wryly and she wasn't about to correct him on that mistake. Instead she'd used her magic to make him forget all about their precious little meeting where she'd handed over the dagger she'd been hoarding for such a chance.
