Spencer was wondering idly where Kinley was. He smiled to himself, remembering last night and how fantastic it had been between the two of them. He'd spent the morning arguing and then trying to appease his mother and Lily and now he felt extremely guilty. He should never have agreed that he needed to spend time apart from Kinley but he'd been ambushed and it had seemed easier at the time to agree to it. Not that he had any intention of going through with it, but his mother had at least stopped berating him long enough for him to escape to his study where he was now frowning down at his paperwork.
