Adam takes me in his arms and hugs me
“Be strong, Ry. I know Rick is okay. He is strong, so pack some clothes. The Aeroplane will be here soon.”
I pull away from Adam and begin to throw clothes on the bed, then get my suitcase and stuff them inside
Tilly comes in and looks at me
“Ry Steve is watching the animals, and there is a girl called Bethany here looking for Jerome.”
I look at Adam
“She has to come with us, so take her home and pack some clothes for her.”
Adam kisses my forehead and then gets up and kisses Tilly
“Keep Ry’s spirits up. I won't belong.”
