When we get home, and I see the police cars in the driveway, I begin to panic
What if they think it's my fault or want to take me away
I know it did nothing wrong, but I still worry
Rick stops the car and runs to my side and opens the door, then gets my bag out and helps me to get out of the car
Once I'm standing, Rick picks me up and carry’s me inside, leaving the police officers on the porch
He carries me to the bathroom and turns the shower on then runs to get a chair for me
Rick helps me to get undressed and covers the cast on my wrist with a plastic bag then sits me in the shower
“I'll be back in a minute, baby.”
He leaves the bathroom and lets the police inside, then comes back to me with clean clothes and some pads for the bleeding
