Chapter 15
I can see the Queen and Casandra whispering to each other and looking expectantly towards the doors as we walk in. As soon as they spot the relaxed and happy atmosphere, their whole demeanour drops. I guess whatever little plan they had to get rid of me was a failure, I know this won’t be their last attempt, so I will have to keep alert around them.
Now that they are happy and relaxed, most of them are wonderful company, especially the women and I am looking forward to working with them more closely in the future and making sure that we do actually work together to improve the kingdom and don’t sit around to gossip like the current queen’s MO.
We end up having an impromptu party of sorts, just with the Palaces ranked members and families along with the Lords and Ladies. It is
