I shook my shoulders, trying to release the tension surrounding me. My mother and Amelia were finishing up the final touches on my hair and makeup, and my anxiety was through the roof. Victor and I graduated two months ago. Coincidentally, the full moon happened to land on my birthday, which meant not only was I turning twenty one today, but it was also our Alpha and Luna ceremony.
“There…all done!” Mel squealed as she moved back. I took a deep breath before turning around on the seat, staring at myself in the mirror. “Perfect as always my dear” I said, smiling at how amazing Mel is with makeup. She grinned as she clapped, before waddling her way towards the bed.
