Frank keeps Ben back a moment, bringing up the bed situation to think about how they could get it there and set up for that evening, which seemed far more important than water at the moment.
“I think it’s a full bed,” Frank said. “I don’t think it’s been used more than a handful of times. It’s just,” Frank huffs a sigh. “Roxi’s Mom… she… let’s just say that you would be doing me a favor, taking it for Kayla. I don’t think she has ever really seen a bed before, and honestly,” he says, shaking his head, “It wouldn’t surprise me if she still sleeps on the ground for a while.”
