“I can’t believe she left,” Pedro gaped at the door. “D’ya think they’re going to circle back?”
Frank evenly looks at the Alpha across from him.
He knows.
He’s always known.
That little story about protecting her like she was his sister was a half truth so that he wouldn’t get strangled by another Alpha… well, Ben’s size of an Alpha. Anyone else Pedro felt he could take, but not that man, per se.
Frank could even scent his change and instead of calling Pedro out on it, he asked for help in the garage. Pedro, however, refused, leaving Frank exasperated.
“Leave the woman alone, Pe. She’s been walled up in here since…” Chyanne’s voice trails, motioning her hand in a circle as if to indicate that it’s been too long to remember.
