He was watching both Jay-la and Stephen in the car's revision mirror as he drove away from the packhouse. They were waving and smiling, he chuckled to himself “They think it got past me.”
“Hm, I bet she was extra attentive last night, huh.”
Nathan cleared his throat and glanced at the children. They were all sitting in the back seat chatting happily among themselves. Seems they were excited about going out to buy their mum a birthday present as well. Stephen had been right about that.
