She sat with Suzzy and her mother, along with Stephen, and apologized for the sudden leaving the other night. They had discussed how they were going to explain the issue, not really something that they could tell the truth about, with humans.
Many things had been discussed or proposed, as to why Nathan and Jackson had just suddenly gotten up and excused themselves, without receiving so much as a phone call, that they'd been gone for more than a day.
In the end, Jay-la had stated "I’ll do it, I got a plan." and she did have. She hadn’t told them what it was, just figured she had a perfectly good reason, that would be acceptable now.
