It was dark and cold out here in the mountains, and not being able to shift to keep truly warm under Kora’s coat. Jay-la knew that they needed to find somewhere to stay put for the night, rather than be out in the open with not only the freezing cold air, but the breeze that blew through the trees as well. It wasn’t so bad when everything was still, but that wind dropped the chill factor considerably.
Both she and Kora were now hunting and searching for a place to spend the night, a place that kept them out of the direct breeze.
