Thea's POV
Its been a week since I came back to New York after spending time with my family and friend's in California. It has been an absolute relaxing two weeks there and I loved every second of it. Spending time with my parents had been the best idea ever. I had missed them a lot and spending some quality time like the good old times, helped a lot.
Now that I am back, the workload has me already wishing for another vacation but I love every second of it. Helping people is one of those things that gives me the satisfaction of being a good human being and making their life easier and without any physical pain is what I strive to do.
"Happy Birthday, Dr. Williams", a nurse wishes me and I smile at her in gratitude.
"Thank you so much, Jane".
"You are working today as well?"
"Yep.
