Thea's POV
Its been two weeks since Kade left for Italy and I already miss him so much. We talked every chance we got and I also video called him every night but it still isn't the same. It feels like I am missing a piece of me and it hurts to be away from his comfy warmth.
"Dr. Williams, The OR is ready for you", the nurse tells me, breaking my chain of thoughts about Kade.
"Yes of course. I will be right there", I tell her with a small smile and she nods before going in the direction of the OR. I sigh and was about to get up from my chair, when my phone rings. Its two in the afternoon here so there, in Italy, it must be eight in the night.
"Hey baby. How are you?", his soothing voice hits my ears, making me smile.
"Hey. I am good. What are you up to?"
