I tried to disappear and find a quiet place where I could think, sober up. I didn't want to go deep in the woods and risk getting lost, but it felt unbearable to stay at the party. I've found a tree not too far away from the fire. I could still see the party from a distance, but the wood and the branches were large enough to separate me from that environment, at least to make me feel like that. I leaned with my back against the tree and took a few deep breaths. The smell of the woods immediately made me feel better. I felt Alex's smell becoming stronger.
"Are you okay?" Said Alex. I knew it was him because of his smell and his voice, but I wasn't looking at him. I was staring into the woods, his figure beside me was nothing but a shade in the corner of my eye.
"What do you want?" I asked
