"What?!" I yelled down the phone, startling my little girl awake. Her thick eyelashes fluttered opened and her whole body leaned away from me.
"I... I don't know what happened. We made sure that all the drugs were off the grounds, just as you ordered. We even went over the company line about how we run a clean establishment. But then, when the cops turned up, the drugs were everywhere. I don't see how it could have happened!" my man, Loui, at Xtreme stuttered and blabbered down the phone.
