Chapter 19: To become an Official Celestel [Part 2]
We finally reached the Dining Hall and we went to our respective table. When it was exactly 8, the main door of the Hall opened, revealing the Headmistress. Oh, she is back. She walked towards the center of the hall, and she snapped her fingers as if telling everyone that it is already time to dig in with the prepared food at the table. And with that as well, the doors automatically shut close, making sure the late ones will no longer be allowed entry in the place.
I ate in silence while the rest of my group talked about things. I just listened in silence.
“I just received a letter from the King this early morning,” it was Gaia who was talking... And I know that the King he is pertaining to is his father, “the letter was about you,” she looked at me after, “it seems like the news that a Tempus Imperium wielder has reached the entire Celeste Kingdom already, and I am sure it shall also go beyond borders.”
“Is that a big deal?”
“Well, of course... More kingdom will want you and try their best to perhaps make contact with you and convince you to become their citizen and they will surely offer you a lot of tempting offers and gifts, considering the fact that you are alien here, a Hopper. You are not a citizen or affiliated with or of any kingdoms, however, it happened that you were teleported in Celeste Kingdom and are now a student of Astaria Academia, the academy exclusive only for acnologians in this kingdom. That makes you an unofficial Celestel.”
“Celestel?” I asked.
“That is the name of people under the Celeste Kingdom,” Thaddeus explained, “all students and workers here are Celestels. For every kingdom as well in Magus Mundo, there is a corresponding Academia exclusive only for their students.” He explained.
I nodded, “if ever someone tries to make contact with me, I will just reject their offer since I already had prior arrangements with the Headmistress already, in exchange for being a student in the Academia, the Headmistress will do her best in order to find a way for me to be able to go back home.” I smiled, “so, my stay here will just be temporary—and that means I have no plans of ever agreeing to whatever offer it is that these outside kingdoms will give me.” I explained.
“Well, if that does not work, they might try to abduct you instead.” Gaia stated after, “as I said, you still are not an official Celestel, and that means the protection of this kingdom does not encompass you... We need to turn you into an official Celestel, and it seems like my father, the King, has already informed the Headmistress regarding this matter, and she will surely make drastic countermeasures already.”
“Then there is nothing to worry of if the Headmistress is already taking care of this matter.” Ruby smiled at she looked at me, “it will be a big loss to us if we lose a legendary acnologian like Luna.”
The rest nodded their head in agreement.
A thunder-like sound boomed and echoed across the room, causing everyone to stop eating and to look at the Headmistress who was looking at everyone with a very serious expression painted on her face.
“Students, there are few announcements I have to make. First, I shall start with my recent expedition with other chosen faculty and acnologians—under the royal decree of King Galileo Celeste, I was tasked to go around the kingdoms in Magus Mundo in order to rally and rebuild an alliance that shall focus on obliterating the Obscurum Army, the alliance is named as the Magus Mundo Alliance, or the MMA, however, the kingdoms are very reluctant in joining and involving in this matter, as they said this is just a problem within the Celeste Kingdom. This diplomatic journey is very taxing and frustrating, the foolish nations will only act if the Obscurum Army will directly affect them already and since it is still on the scale of Celeste domain, they do not want involvements. As we speak, this evil army is expanding its power already. We should not wait for the time that they become too much to handle. If so, the sacrifices of our ancestors will just go down the drain, and Magus Mundo will surely bound to fall.”
The Headmistress continued to talk, and after that, she went on the next agenda. “There is also the matter on Luna Clockwork... Come to my office after breakfast.” She insisted and after declaring that, she suddenly disappeared on her spot.
This made me curious now as to what acnologia it is that the Headmistress wields, she seems to be able to do anything at will.
“I guess the Headmistress will try to talk to you already about becoming an official citizen of this kingdom, to give you protection among nations who shall have their eyes on you.” Santina smiled at me.
“I will just agree, I have nothing to lose.” I smiled.
They all nodded.
“Yes, for your safety.” Helios smiled at me. “When I lost my kingdom, other kingdoms also tried to exploit me, but I was found by Lady Marcelle, and with her help, I converted from being a Sunfioreen to a Celestel too.” He told.
When I was finally done eating breakfast and the rest were still unfinished with their meals, I decided to bid my farewell already in order to go to the office of the Headmistress where she is probably waiting for me already.
They let me go shortly and Helios happened to be done with his meal already, and he offered to keep me company. He probably sensed already that I have no sense of direction and that I will surely have a trouble finding the office. Since the campus is too complicated with all the left turns and right turns, I agreed and accepted his kind offer, and with that, both of us retreated from the Hall.
