“Thanks for dinner,” Charlotte said. She, Greg, and Kennedy were outside the Chinese restaurant, standing in a patch of light cast by a street light, and were about to split ways.
“It was my pleasure,” Kennedy replied, smiling down at her. “I’ll see you tomorrow at the meeting.”
“Yeah. Marcus, Lara, and I will come down straight after training,” Charlotte agreed. Now that they had their witnesses, they needed to solidify their plan. There were still a lot of details they needed to sort out to make sure things ran as smoothly as possible.
“I’m so proud of both of you,” Kennedy said looking from Charlotte to her brother, his blue eyes shining with happiness.
