Jay was glowing?
Suddenly Jay looked more appealing or more attractive to me. I furrow my eyebrows at how I would find Jay attractive because he wasn't my type of guy.
Yes he's fit and good looking but I'm more into those badass guys while Jay looked like a good high school boy.
Jay holds my hands up sending sparks up my arms and smiles at me," Would you like to go out with me?"
I stare at him dumbfoundedly but my lips spoke without my mind's consent," Yes."
After a while, he stopped glowing. I didn't ask him anything in case he thought I was crazy and delusional. I just keep telling myself that I was seeing and imagining things.
He leaned in closer to me and pecked my cheeks making me blush. How did Jay have this kind of effect on me?
"Tessa?" Megan and Harper shouts from the end of the hallway behind me. I turn and see them staring at us. I awkwardly pull my hands away when I see them holding Jay's hands.
They both walk up to me just staring at Jay without saying a word.
"Hi Im Jay," he says to break the silence. However no one says anything.
"Who is this Greek God?" Harper whispers into my ear.
Geez. No need to make him sound like he's that good looking. Okay, maybe he is.
I push the thought out of my head and introduce them to each other," Harper and Megan, this is Jay. Jay, this is Harper and Megan. "
Great introduction there Tessa.
Jay smiles and nods his head," I'll see you beautiful ladies later," and winks at us.
"Details, now," Megan stares at me and presses.

"I love you," I smile cheekily at Jay while he smiles back at me.
His been glowing again for some reason and this time I'm pretty sure that I wasn't delusional.
Each time he glowed, it got brighter and brighter and for some reason, I'm confessing my love to Jay but I'm not really feeling it.
Am I thinking straight?
What did I eat?
He smiles back," I love you too cupcake."
He has been poking at his food for the past half an hour without even taking a bite out of it.
The food at his cafe is legendary but Jay hasn't even touched it yet.
Yes, his cafe. His dad owns this cafe that recently opened a few streets from the school when he moved here last week.
I cut another piece of waffle in half and bite into it.
"Are you okay? You aren't eating," I furrow my eyebrows. He didn't eat today either when I ran into him in the hallway before he asked me out.
He seemed build up with broad shoulders so he isn't those kind of skinny nerds or Barbie doll girls that watch their weight and drink only water.
So why isn't he eating?
Fuck it. I'm just going to enjoy my food.
He watches me intensively as I eat my food. It's as if he wants to eat me.
I push my empty plate towards the centre of the table and look around his cafe. It's a nice homely looking place with potted plants and cushions everywhere but this place is serously packed. Who knew this place would be so famous in this part of the city within a week.
He smirks at me," Do you like the cafe? You can come here anytime you like."
I nod at him," Thank you. The food here is great. Please give my compliments to the chef."
Real smooth Tessa. I'm sure anyone can make warm waffles with ice cream.
"I will. Now come. There's a part of the cafe that you hadn't seen yet," he stands up and pulls me towards the back of the cafe near the kitchen but stops in front of a wooden door,' personel only'.
This is where they store frozen waffles or something?
He pushes the door open with force and holds it open for me, gesturing me to walk in. I look down the steps that lead to another door. A rhythmic sound that softly rings in my ear.
I push open the next door and music blasts into my ears.
It was dimly lit with neon lights and the place was crowded. The alcohol scent hit me a few seconds later.
I scrunch my nose in disgust and turn around to leave but Jay blocks me and pushes me into the crowd of drunk and hormonal teens dancing with each other.
"Welcome to the Cupid's playground. "
