The air reeked of moss, dust and metal, along with that I could smell something really delicious. I couldn't define what it was, it was completely alien to me but it really had me thirsty for it. My throat burnt with dry ache. I opened my eyes to the dark room, yet I could see the white dusty ceiling. The flashes of what seemed to be dreams from a long sleep revived before my eyes. The flashes of bloodshed, crowds assembled before a leader giving a speech, a beautiful mother smiling, a hardworking father, caring friends teasing each other took over my brain. I knew none of them but something about them felt so familiar.
