Charlotte's POV:
December came and went, and it was time for another elimination. I've spent the past week sitting with Lucas while he goes over the girls to send home.
"After meeting the families it makes this that much harder. Seeing the hope on the mothers' faces makes it hard to crush all of their dreams." Lucas sighs, tossing a picture onto the desk.
"Just send them all home." I say, walking over to the desk.
"I wish." he sighs.
I wrap my arms around his shoulders and kiss his cheek. He tugs on my hand and I move around the chair to sit on his lap. I put one arm around his shoulder. He puts an arm around my waist and a hand on my knee. I reach for the pictures on the desk.
"How about her?" I hold up Candice's picture.
