Lucas's POV:
It's been almost four months since our trip to New York. A couple weeks after we got back Charlotte started getting sick. She's been throwing up mid-morning/afternoon and then after a couple hours she's fine. This has been going on every couple of days and then she's fine for like a week and then she gets sick again. So she decided to go to the doctor today.
"Lucas," my mother says. "When you go upstairs, will you tell Charlotte that her mother called?"
"Charlotte's at the doctor," I say.
"No, the driver just brought her back and she went straight upstairs. Her maids keep saying that she's asking for you and won't take any calls," my mom says.
I turn and start running down the hall and up the three flights of stairs to our room. Mari
