Lucas's POV:
Being a public figure means being attacked by paparazzi every time I step out of my house. Now Charlotte being a public figure, means she is now on the cover of every magazine in the country. Since Eli's party, she has been on the news, gossip blogs, magazine covers, and whatever else the media uses to exploit celebrities.
I've managed to keep her busy with other tasks lately so she hasn't had the chance to leave the palace or see the news. She's been too busy to relax until after dinner and by then the evening news is over and then we go into another day of busy work.
Tonight I'm exhausted after a day of meetings and coming up with pointless tasks for Charlotte to do. I sit on the bed staring at a book when the bedroom door opens and a magazine drops
