Charlotte's POV:
I wake up to an annoying beeping sound. I open my eyes and see Lucas sitting in a chair next to the bed that I'm lying in.
"Hey, pretty girl." He smiles when he sees me awake.
"What happened?" I ask.
"You passed out," He says.
"What about the baby? Is the baby okay?" I ask.
"I don't know."
The doctor comes in then.
"Good morning your highness," the doctor smiles. "I'm Doctor Watson."
"Is my baby okay?" I ask.
"You have a condition called antiphospholipid antibody syndrome," the doctor says. "It's a pre-existing condition that causes your blood to clot in your arteries and veins which often results in miscarriages."
