The school was bustling with the students rushing in through the door, early this morning. But they did stop to double take and some even were so shocked to freeze in their step when we walked pass them in the same old corridors. But nothing was same old again. At least, not for me.
And what had them in such a shock to make them halt and look at us? Well, first thing was that I got out of the car with the Adonides. The second was that they had surrounded me like my very own bodyguards, hiding me away from the claws of the green monsters. And the third thing was that West had his hand around my waist. Definitely not in a platonic way but rather to show it openly who I was to him.
